Kirsty Gallacher denies Tiger affair
Kirsty Gallacher - issued statement.
The allegation had swept the internet following the stunning revelations about Woods' infidelity which had seen him linked to a string of women, including a well-known female British TV presenter.
In her denial, the former Sky Sports presenter said: 'It was all speculation and it was incorrect.
"It was very upsetting. I knew I was being talked about and that's why lawyers were involved.
"But what you do in this job is you get quite strong because you know things will come at you."
Miss Gallacher, 34 and now a mother of two, is the daughter of former European Ryder Cup skipper Bernard Gallacher and is reported to have struck up a good friendship with Woods over the years.
She also once described Woods as "incredibly kind, talented and handsome."
